Oil-Eating Microbes A Possible Solution
Can naturally occurring, oil-eating microbes help clean the waters and shores of the Gulf of Mexico? Scientists, BP and government officials are moving toward trying it.
One scientist compares them to the yellow chompers in the Pac-Man video game -- hungry, single-minded little microbes fueled by the same fertilizer that farmers use on soybeans, gobbling hydrocarbons from the oily waters, marshes and shores of the Gulf of Mexico.
Can the naturally occurring microbes help clean up the oil spill?
Yes, experts say. At least in part, with some risk.
Officials are taking note. Gov. Charlie Crist on Thursday visited a Sarasota company that sells microbes that eat oil. BP says it's open to using them. AND THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT THIS WEEK IS CONTACTING ITS PRE-APPROVED LIST OF MORE THAN A DOZEN COMPANIES TO SEE HOW QUICKLY THEY CAN RAMP UP PRODUCTION.

High Risk/High Reward play with BUGS.PK...company apparently owns (or used to own) the patent on Oil eating microbes which have been widely discussed as a possible solution to cleaning up the Gulf oil spill...company has used the microbes on several oil spills before, the only caveat is they had shelved the technology over the past several years....however they are now reporting on their website (www.bugsatwork.net) that they are "in the process of reactivating the technology and collaborating with other companies to deploy the products at environmental disasters such as the Gulf Oil Spill and effected areas."...again very high risk/reward play with downside risk of 75% from here, but upside potential is 1000% in my opinion, with upside to .05-.07 (which is where the stock soared to when Hurricane Katrina hit) with the right PRs and momentum....also any reports of these oil eating microbes being used by other companies in the Gulf could spark the stock...one to watch over the next several weeks...note outstanding share count is a mere 477M (current mkt cap $2.6M) which makes the stock highly susceptible to big price swings

Accumulating IRSN here in the low .30s as it has been showing solid support at .25. It continues to show nice lengthy sideways action consolidating mid .30s with a recent test of resistance at .40-.45 on heavy volume. Potential breakout at .50 resistance level. WIll hold based on strength as Its showing heavy volume pops with low volume dips. Stops at .30. Also note company has received an increase in purchase orders for their COTI systems for use with U.S. Military night vision and have now made available their "VAULT" Hi-Density Flash products from their "proprietary stacking technologies to achieve extreme memory storage density and speed and are specifically designed to embed advanced technologies developed by Irvine Sensors and U.S. Government agencies to protect stored data from improper access or tampering."

Accumulating biotech play HEB at .76 with stops at .74 as it has shown continued support along the 50 day SMA since February. They have 58 million in cash with no debt. Insiders loaded the dip in December of '09 and the stock seems to have leveled off displaying a nice multimonth consolidation pattern in a fairly narrow range. Potential breakout on close over .84 with next resistance at the $1 level.
GRH
Accumulating renewable energy play GRH 1.33 level with 1.29 stops for potential retest/breakout at 1.50. Target 1.60-1.65 level as oil looks to break out from this range its been in since July pushing higher lows and higher highs. GRH has been consolidating in a tight trading range since the news broke in March about securing their bond financing and looks ready to start another run from these levels. Also note stock coming off a solid double bottom at $1.00 in 2009.

Biotech play INO chart has been tightening up with support at the 50 day SMA since triple bottom at $1. Over 2x the avg daily volume traded today closing at 1.39. Its a buy on a break of 1.45 with solid volume which could give it traction to break the 1.50 resistance since March for a shot at November resistance 1.75. CEO, Dr. J. Joseph Kim, will present a corporate update on its DNA vaccines for influenza, HIV and cancer and its vaccine delivery technology on May 5th at 2:15 p.m. at the upcoming 2010 BIO International Convention which could potentially provide a catalyst for a breakout.

Keep an eye on ACLH.PK and EVXA.PK tomorrow and into next week as both companies are involved with Oil cleanups, and may become big speculative plays on the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico...ACLH.PK is my favorite of the two as it has a lower float (100M - less liquid tho) and more importantly has worked with the big oil companies before including British Petroleum which has been named as the culprit behind the spill...EVXA.PKs latest PR also states its looking for financing which likely means dilution...both can be played intraday, but if I had to choose one to hold into next week, Id go with ACLH.PK

We've been slowly accumulating AQUI.PK (Aquagold) here in the .0016-.0021 range the past couple of weeks as technicals are starting to turn very bullish as the stock makes a higher low off its December bottom and the 20 day EMA about to crossover the 50-day EMA any day now....this is extremely similar to the set up we've seen in recent mega winners GOIG.PK and ZVTK.OB which made multi-bagger runs...Aquagold, a Canadian bottled water company, is also about to start fulfilling a major contract to the Shanghai 2010 Devnet Expo which begins May 1, 2010 and is expected to host over 70 Million people....the chart is set up perfectly for a 150% gain to the .005-.006 level, and possibly +400% with a momentum wave to the .01s as stock has room to run from its current $2M market cap....watch for PRs over the next several weeks regarding Devnet especially in light of new CEO coming on board 3 weeks ago (see News section on pinksheets.com)...

We've been slowly accumulating AQUI.PK (Aquagold) here in the .0016-.0021 range the past couple of weeks as technicals are starting to turn very bullish as the stock makes a higher low off its December bottom and the 20 day EMA about to crossover the 50-day EMA any day now....this is extremely similar to the set up we've seen in recent mega winners GOIG.PK and ZVTK.OB which made multi-bagger runs...Aquagold, a Canadian bottled water company, is also about to start fulfilling a major contract to the Shanghai 2010 Devnet Expo which begins May 1, 2010 and is expected to host over 70 Million people....the chart is set up perfectly for a 150% gain to the .005-.006 level, and possibly +400% with a momentum wave to the .01s as stock has room to run from its current $2M market cap....watch for PRs over the next several weeks regarding Devnet especially in light of new CEO coming on board 3 weeks ago (see News section on pinksheets.com)...

The way this traded today and even friday (the ask was unusually heavy on friday but I figured it was DMRJ unloading their 1.5M and the pressure would be gone today), I dont think we have an accurate view of the mkt cap....I think the company has probably been diluting heavily into the volume surge the past couple days...todays performance is indicative of a very large seller in the stock....have a call into IR to get the authorized share count because Im almost positive that the outstanding shares are in the process of being increased well over the current 15M share count.
Bet we see the outstanding up by around 10M-12.5M shares soon....have a feeling the stock could be heading back to the 20 day EMA around .30...

Going thru the filings, found that the CEO (leaving this year) and largest shareholder just had his 14M shares unlocked as of yesterday.....expect further downward pressure as he liquidates imo, we can likely pick this one up in the .10-.15 range
